Our Story
Baani is an apparel brand introduced by a mother-daughter duo in 2017 that embodies innovation, comfort, and most importantly, elegance in its products. Both the founders, Naheed and Mubashira, understood that the Pakistani apparel market needed a fresh change of pace. There was a lack of personalized brands as people often have to compromise with whatever’s trending. There was a massive market gap where no brand was providing products based on people’s personalities. You have colors, designs, stitching, and different styles, but no brand uses a customer’s personality to define these elements. That’s how we define Baani’s true vision – a brand that offers premium apparel products that resonate with who you are. Under that vision, Baani aims towards true sustainability, superior aesthetics, and women empowerment. We personally design and test each product to assess wear and tear, color fading, and more, to make sure that our clients receive the highest quality products. That’s because our mission is to provide long-lasting superior quality products based on our brand’s vision. Our commitment toward building personal relationships with our clients to learn about who they are and what they want helps us achieve our vision, mission, and goals. And, it helps our clients get products that instill their personality.

Naheed Mubashir
Naheed is the ceo and head of operations at Baani.
She started getting into apparel as a personal hobby, designing and making clothes for family and friends. That hobby transformed into something bigger, leading her to use her talents to design apparel for other women. She has always been extremely passionate about clothing. Her creativity, risk-taking nature, and hard-working character led her break the glass ceiling. And, her energetic aura and innovative mind helped her overcome personal and professional challenges and barriers, ultimately leading her to Baani.

Mubashira Ahmed
Mubashira is the co-founder and creative director at Baani. She started out by helping her mother, Naheed, with the launch of Baani. But, as the brand grew, she realized that creative direction, branding, and photography is what she’s good with and has since been managing that. She is extremely passionate about branding and is always coming up with creative ideas, campaigns, and marketing avenues. Her hard-working nature along with superior communication and interpersonal skills has helped her collaborate and work with renowned brands. Ultimately, her smarts, quick thinking, and project management skills have helped Baani turn into a successful national brand.
